At the organization that cares for New York City’s beloved Central Park, I operated as a content strategist for its website—predominantly its online magazine—with the goal to be the #1 source on Central Park. The website later went on to win a Webby Award.
I also created and implemented many best content practices on our team such as content briefs, blog guidelines, photography guidelines, a style guide, and more.
In just a few short months, I project managed the fact-checking and rewriting of hundreds of pages on the organization’s website. This involved working closely with staff to ensure everything was correct, updating copy, and optimizing the pages for SEO and user experience. I kept everyone involved aware of the project’s process by sending weekly status updates and clearly defining next steps.

We gained thousands of new email subscribers by creating exclusive digital guides highlighting the best of what to see and do in the Park. In addition to assisting with lead generation, our objectives were to spotlight our expertise and drive deeper relationships with visitors and supporters.
I transitioned these guides from static PDFs to interactive webpages to allow for a better user experience. View an example here.
I produced and managed a variety of other content pieces that involved collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including the organization’s annual report and seasonal print newsletter. I ensured strict deadlines were met and worked closely with designers to ensure all images and copy told a dynamic story.
